The First and last films explored the genre well, whereas Predator 2w as a typical sequel, and it fell well below par by comparison before picking up in Predators. The latest film which I saw today Is dire and reminds me of Aliens the second film of the series aimed at the macho testosterone US market, it has the germ of a better storyline with the female sceintist and the young boy but clearly good Sci Fi lost out to a shoot em up video game movie.
