Fast and Furious Movies In Order
The Fast and the Furious is a movie series that every car lover has watched. Beginning in 2001, this series inspired car enthusiasts around the world and strengthened car modding communities. The franchise now includes ten main films, a spin-off, and two short films. With a combined gross of over 7 billion dollars worldwide, it has become one of the most popular car centric flicks out there. The films have continued after the death of Paul Walker, who played Brian O’Conner.
If you’re a car lover who has somehow missed out on all the action, it’s crucial to watch Fast and Furious movies in order. Not only will you miss out on important character development if you don’t watch it in the correct order, but the movies follow a specific chronological series of events. The first movie introduces you to the lead characters, their history, and gives insight into the events that lead to the second film. While each film has its own separate plot, you will not understand certain aspects of subsequent movies if it’s not watched in the proper order.
Furious 7 was released in 2015 and became the highest-grossing movie in the series at the time. It was Paul Walker’s final film appearance in the franchise, completed after his death in 2013. His brothers served as doubles for some scenes, alongside the use of previously filmed footage. The movie remains a major part of the series and leads into the films that followed.
Hobbs & Shaw (2019) gives Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw their own adventure away from Dom’s crew. It can be enjoyed separately from the main series. Fast X (2023), however, ends on a cliffhanger. Its follow-up, Fast Forever, is scheduled for March 17, 2028.

In fact, this movie series is so successful that it has spawned games, action figures, and even short films. There are many games that use the Fast and Furious brand, including some for PS3, Xbox 360, and the Nintendo Wii. In addition to the games there have also been short films to fill in blanks between actual movies. Those two films are entitled Turbo-Charged Prelude and Los Bandoleros.
No matter if you’re a fan of cars or not, this action packed series is sure to please anybody. The franchise has continued long after its early street racing stories, with the characters and their cars still at the center of the films. Stick to watching them in the proper order to follow the story as it unfolds.

I loved the entire series, but missed the shorts. Where can I find them? I can’t wait until O get to see the eighth!

Love them just hate it the early death of Paul Walker and as long as no more characters keep dying will continue to watch.
