The Shaolin Temple trilogy kicked off in 1982 with the first movie in the series Shaolin Temple. In 1983 a second film was released staring Jet Li, Lan Ding, Qiuyan Huang, Chia-Hui Liu, and in 1986 the series was completed with Martial Arts of Shaolin.
