The Avengers Movies In Order

The Avengers movie series has delivered a knockout performance since day one of release. This Marvel movie franchise has four movies in it, the two current movies “The Avengers” and “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” since release have been setting ground breaking records and delivering A+ Cinema Scores. The first movie in the series was released on the 4th of May 2012 while Age of Ultron was released on the 1st of May 2015. The next two movies in the series “The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1” and “The Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” are scheduled to be released on the 4th of May 2018 and the 3rd of May 2019.

The Avengers is the first movie in the series, but many people will argue that is actually the sixth movie as there are five other movies based on the main hero’s stories. This eventually creates a build-up to The Avengers. On day one of release, The Avengers became the biggest domestic opening weekend movie of all time not only in USA but also in countries such as Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, New Zealand and many more. The budget was $220 million and within 12 days it made over $600 million which is nearly six-times the original budget.

This inspiring superhero team-up is set to end in 2019 with the release of “The Avengers: Infinity War Part 2” where we hope that the likes of Ironman, Thor, The Hulk and Captain America will join forces with Peter Quill and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the quest to save the universe from Thanos. This is touted be the epic conclusion to the series about the world’s greatest superheroes. I would highly recommend that you watch the Avengers movie series in order of the release dates. The first movie will provide all the background information needed for you to understand what is happening, but I would also recommend watching movies like Ironman 1 and 2, Captain America, Thor and the Incredible Hulk first to be able to gain a full understanding of the Marvel Universe and to be able to enjoy all the hidden jokes within the series.

The Avengers series has thus far received extremely high ratings with both movies receiving a score of A+ from Cinema Score. Actor Mark Ruffalo who plays Bruce Banner and The Hulk is the only actor to play the role of The Hulk in multiple movies. Upon release the Age of Ultron movie trailer received, and broke the most amount of views in 24 hours on YouTube with a staggering 34 million views.

With all this being said, if you think this series is not for you, you could be wrong. 50% of the people who watched the movie were over 25 while the other 50% were under 25, proving that this movie series is really for everyone. So get watching because you have three years before the next movie in this epic series is released.
